COLLECTiEF

The Division of Building Physics will start working on a large European project, called COLLECTiEF, together with thirteen other institutes from six European countries.  COLLECTiEF was approved with a top rank in a very competitive H2020 call, B4E, and a score of 15 out of 15.

In COLLECTiEF we are going to implement, test and qualify an energy management platform based on Collective Intelligence (called CI-DSM) to increase energy flexibility and climate resilience in buildings and urban areas. We aim at increasing the communication between buildings, energy systems and their components without jeopardizing user privacy and data security while keeping the required IT solutions simple and not expensive.

Prof. Vahid Nik is the Scientific Coordinator of COLLECTiEF and leads the project at LTH.
